WHIT BUNDY, CFA
Whit Bundy joined Patterson in the Spring of 2018. He is a graduate of the Moore School of Business and a CFA charterholder. Whit has spent his entire career underwriting real estate across all major asset classes from both the debt and equity perspectives.
Prior to joining Patterson, Whit spent just short of seven years with WestRock (previously known as MWV) within their Community Development and Land Management division. At WestRock, Whit was involved in the underwriting and financial management of the division’s real estate investments, which was primarily comprised of two award winning master planned communities outside of Charleston, SC, as well as a large urban brownfield project and numerous industrial projects. During his time in the role, Whit spent considerable time working on the company’s public financing mechanisms, which included tax increment financing (TIFs) and assessment districts. At the request of the company, Whit stayed through the effective dissolution of the business, spending his final two years working directly with Eastdil Secured to package and sell the division’s assets.
Before WestRock, Whit worked at Regions Bank, where he began in the company’s land development and home builder finance division before transitioning to the company’s commercial real estate special assets division during the downturn of 2008.
