LAURA FRIDDELL

Laura joined Patterson in the summer of 2015 after spending two years at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (now Truist Securities) in its Structured Real Estate Group.  Prior to joining SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, she attended the University of Virginia, majoring in both Finance and French. 

Since joining Patterson in 2015, Laura has directly assisted in raising over $2.8 billion dollars in financing for clients.  She has worked on a wide range of property types across the Southeast, and is experienced in raising development, bridge and permanent financing.  The financing raised has included a mix of equity, senior debt and subordinate capital (both mezzanine debt and preferred equity).  Laura has also been actively involved in the advisory side of Patterson’s business, helping clients with overall strategic thinking as well as detailed analyses for certain projects and situations.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining Patterson, Laura was an analyst for SunTrust Robinson Humphrey’s Structured Real Estate Group, which acquired single tenant real estate assets primarily from corporate and investment banking clients, issued lease-backed notes and selectively marketed properties to institutional and private investors.  Over the course of two years, Laura gained experience across all aspects of the business, including marketing, return analysis and origination; structuring, forecasting and portfolio sensitivity; as well as debt raising, deal closings and dispositions.  While at SunTrust, Laura directly assisted the group with close to $1 billion in real estate transactions.

LIFESTYLE

Laura is originally from Atlanta where she attended The Westminster Schools.  She loves running, traveling and spending time at Lake Blue Ridge with her friends and family.
